While this hotel was nothing special, it was preferable to the Super 8 we had used for Park and Stay in April, and does not cost much more than long term parking at the airport would.… Since we had an early flight, we did not get to try the free breakfast. He then left and came back a little later with a new in box unit which he installed, and then we had air conditioning. I noticed that it was not a new unit, and after it was installed, it did not work either. Later he came in with another unit and replaced the one we had. The maintenance man came and confirmed that it did not work and said he would replace it with a new unit.
He then said he would notify maintenance. I told him that since the compressor was not coming on, that it would not work. When I asked him to demonstrate it he said that it would take some time for it to get the temperature down. I called the desk and reported it and the desk clerk came up and tried to tell me how to adjust the temp. When we got to the room, it was hot and we found that we could not adjust the a/c unit. The only vending and ice was on the first floor. The bathroom was small, but the vanity was outside the bathroom. We had a large room that was on the second floor and was ell shaped, making it roomier than other rooms.
