You start playing and hit level 6 and you start realizing, you will never catch the people who have been playing since launch on the main leaderboard. This game was full launch last year, you just found it looking through the steam store. The main leaderboard in this game only shows me which players have too much free time on their hands, not saying its a bad thing, but it is what it is. They will always be ahead of you in every aspect. You will never be number 1 cause of the amount of time those guys play. Hey guys, I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers but what is the big obsession with the leaderboard? There is no leaderboard at my local fishing hole lol. It looks like the biggest fish in the game is the Unique Striper Bass (bout 46lb)īut my experience as fisherman for like 20years, i know from all the fish in the game is that the biggest should be the catfish, See link: īut beside all that, i realy like Fishing Planet and can't wait for the full product :) And that for all kinda of fish that are in the game.Īnd because im already writing here i like to add something else. Personaly i would like to have seperate Leaderboards, for each fish.Įxample: Top 100 for Normal Striper Bass - Top 100 Trophy Striper Bass - Top 100 Unique Striper Bass. So if i want to go for top 100, i have to catch a Unique only.
However i am kinda sad on how the leader board works at the moment.īecause it seem that most top 100 are Unique fishes, and some Uniques are removed from the game after the latest patch ( so i've heard). Hi, im playing Fishing Planet for 180 hours now, and ofcourse there are bugs/glitches, and thats no problem because it is a *stil under development* game.
